Президент Росії Володимир Путін відвідає окуповану Абхазію з візитом 8 серпня

Про це повідомляє ТСН із посиланням на РБК. У програмі короткого візиту — переговори з "президентом" Абхазії Раулем Хаджимбою.

Візит Путіна припаде на дату початку військового конфлікту в Південній Осетії 2008 року: коли Росія втрутилася в конфлікт на боці південноосетинських сепаратистів і ввела війська, в тому числі танкові бригади, на територію Грузії, бомбардувала грузинські міста, порти та військові об'єкти. Військові дії поширилися за межі Південної Осетії на інші міста Грузії й Абхазії. Тоді Росія визнала "незалежність" Абхазії і Південної Осетії.

Як зазначає видання, Хаджимба регулярно відвідує Росію. Востаннє він приїжджав на переговори до Путіна в грудні минулого року.
