Активисты движения «Нет грабежа», организаторы акции протеста в Ереване против повышения цен на электроэнергию, решили прекратить ночные сидячие забастовки на площади Свободы в столице Армении. По словам одного из лидеров движения Максима Саргсян, дневные протесты будут продолжаться, пишет Радио Свобода

Как отметил другой участник движения Вагинак Сусанцы, активисты собираются создать группы экспертов, экономистов, юристов, чтобы выступить с конкретными предложениями по организации международного аудита компании «Электрические сети Армении».

Как сообщает армянская служба Радио Свобода, сейчас в Ереване проходит одновременно два бессрочных митинги - на проспекте Баграмяна и соседний с ним площади Свободы. Протестующие разделились из-за заявлений полиции о намерении «зачистить» проспект, если активисты не переместятся на площадь.

В итоге движение «Нет грабежа» переместился на площадь Свободы, а те, кто остался на проспекте Баграмяна, назвали активистов, ушедших «предателями».

Протесты в Ереване против повышения тарифов на электроэнергию продолжаются больше недели. Утром 23 июня полиция применила силу при разгоне акции. Пострадали не менее 20 человек - демонстранты и полицейские.

Впоследствии власти страны согласились провести аудит в компании «Электрические сети Армении», чтобы выяснить, насколько оправдано повышение цен на электроэнергию примерно на 16%. На время проверки, которая, как ожидается, займет от трех месяцев до полугода, тарифы будут заморожены.
