Агентство Ренхап сообщает о том, что южнокорейский Конституционный суд утвердил импичмент президента страны, и за соответствующее решение свои голоса отдали все судьи – восемь человек, передает PRпортал  

Напомним, что парламент Южной Кореи в ходе заседания, прошедшего 9 декабря прошлого года, поддержал импичмент Пак Кын Хе из-за крупнейшего в стране коррупционного скандала. После провозглашения импичмента в течение 60 дней в государстве необходимо будет провести досрочные выборы на должность президента. Напомним, что осенью прошлого года в Южной Корее прошли массовые акции протеста, в которых приняли участие миллионы корейяцев. Они требовали отставки президента из-за коррупционного скандала. 

Массовые акции протеста начались после того, как стало известно о том, что близкая подруга лидера государства Чой Сун-Силь вмешивалась в государственные дела Южной Кореи, а также использовала свое положение с целью получения материальной выгоды, которая была огромной. Подруга президента имела доступ к государственным документам, а также редактировала речи южнокорейского лидера.
