Президент Киргизії Алмазбек Атамбаєв взяв короткострокову робочу відпустку для проведення медичного обстеження через проблеми зі здоров'ям, повідомила прес-служба киргизького лідера.

За даними адміністрації президента, відпустка починається з 20 вересня й триватиме до 1 жовтня, пише Новое время.

Раніше ЗМІ повідомляли, що через проблеми з серцем Атамбаєв не візьме участь у 71-ї сесії Генеральної Асамблеї ООН в Нью-Йорку. Він пройде медичне обстеження та деякий час перебуватиме під наглядом лікарів, а делегацію Киргизії очолить міністр закордонних справ Ерлан Абдилдаєв.
