Про це на своїй сторінці у Facebook написала перший віце-спікер Верховної Ради, уповноважений президента з мирного врегулювання ситуації на Донбасі Ірина Геращенко, передає Еспресо

За її словами, Рівлін оцінив аспекти української історії, що стосуються ОУН та Бабиного Яру, некоректно і недипломатично. Тим часом інші представники єврейських громад та релігійних конфесій проявили повагу до пам'яті жертв.

Понад те, презиент також не висловив підтримку територіальній цілісності України, чого очікували як громадяни держави, так і українські євреї.

"Шкода, що деякі керівники сучасних країн й досі користуються штампами радянської пропаганди часів замовчування трагедії Бабиного Яру. І це ще більше свідчить про те, як нам потрібно активізувати всі наші зусилля, аби світ знав більше правди про українську історію, в тому числі і про Бабин Яр, тему якого замовчували "совєти", але голосно підняли саме українські патріоти", - наголосила Геращенко.
