Президент Чехії Мілош Земан повідомив, що прийняв запрошення від президента Росії Володимира Путіна відвідати Сочі.
 

Про це він заявив 20 вересня на прес-конференції в Нью-Йорку, передає Hospodářské noviny.

"Президент Путін мене наразі запросив до Сочі, я це запрошення з радістю приймаю, тому що воно є до певної міри нагородою", – заявив Земан.

Президент Чехії планує відвідати також Москву, Єкатеринбург і Татарстан.

Дата приїзду попередньо запланована на 20 листопада.

Чеський президент у своєму виступі на засіданні Генасамблеї ООН закликав об’єднати зусилля всіх країн у боротьбі з міжнародним тероризмом.

Як повідомляється, під час зустрічі у Нью-Йорку з міністром закордонних справ Росії Сергієм Лавровим, Земан наголосив, що сумнівається у тому, що "світовий тероризм було б можливо побороти на сторінках інтернету".

"Моя уява дещо старомодна - "калашников", гелікоптер, дрон і так далі, але точно не інтернет", - сказав Земан.
