И.о. премьер-министра Испании Мариано Рахой допускает проведение новых парламентских выборов в стране - уже третьих с декабря прошлого года.

Об этом он заявил во вторник, сообщает Европейская правда со ссилкой на El Pais.

Таким образом Рахой прокомментировал отказ лидера Социалистической партии Испании Педро Санчеса войти в правительственную коалицию.

"Если господин Санчес будет продолжать отказываться, мы еще раз проведем выборы", - отметил он.

"Но это было бы нонсенсом, безумием", - подчеркнул Рахой.

"Господин Санчес не реагирует на мои просьбы. Я сказал ему, что единственной альтернативой вижу проведение новых выборов, если Санчес не имеет в виду что-то еще, что я не знаю", - отметил он.

Ранее сообщалось, что в конце июня в Испании состоялись досрочные парламентские выборы, победу на которых одержала Консервативная Народная партия во главе с и.о. премьер-министра Мариано Рахоя

Предыдущие парламентские выборы прошли в Испании в декабре 2015 года.

Тогда также ни одна из партий не набрала абсолютного большинства в парламенте, а переговоры между партиями так и не привели к формированию коалиции и правительства.

В связи с этим король Испании Филипп VI был вынужден распустить парламент и назначить новые выборы.
