Сьогодні, 25 вересня, президент України Петро Порошенко під час прес-конференції у Києві заявив, що він подасть зміни до Конституції України щодо питань децентралізації новому скликанню ВР.

"Моє бачення дуже просте - відразу ж, новій ВР запропоную конституційні зміни, які будуть стосуватися питань децентралізації", - сказав Порошенко.

За словами президента, після прийняття відповідних рішень з'явиться можливість провести місцеві вибори в Україні,пише ТСН.

"Відбудеться різке збільшення повноважень місцевих рад, в тому числі, бюджетних повноважень. І на моє переконання, збільшення повноважень повинно супроводжуватися достроковими виборами, щоб люди та місцеві громади мали можливість обрати органи місцевого самоврядування", - додав президент.

Також Порошенко має намір підписати закон про введення особливого порядку самоврядування в окремих районах Донецької і Луганської областей, яким передбачено проведення місцевих виборів 7 грудня.

"Підстави та рішення для переобрання Верховної Ради я прийняв. Повірте мені, вагатися щодо депутатів місцевих рад у мене рука не здригнеться, і цей закон буде підписаний", - сказав він, додавши, що відвідає Донбас після виборів 7 грудня.
