Поліція у Києві затримала Олену Бережну, матір загиблої екс-депутатки від «Партії регіонів» Ірини Бережної. Це сталося під час акції «Безсмертний полк» у столиці.

На ексклюзивних фотографіях «Главкому» видно, що жінка, яка не приховує свої проросійські погляди, причепила на одяг заборонену в Україні георгіївську стрічку, які використовують, зокрема, підрозділи російсько-терористичних військ на Донбасі. Під час затримання Бережна пручалась, але правоохоронцям все ж вдалося помістити Бережну до автомобіля патрульної поліції.

Нагадаємо, Олена Бережна відома своїми антиукраїнськими поглядами, публікаціями в соцмережах та регулярними виступами на російському телебаченні.  Зокрема, вона заявляє про «терор російськомовного населення» в Україні. Її донька Ірина Бережна загинула 5 серпня 2017 року в дорожньо-транспортній пригоді на узбережжі Адріатичного моря. Ірина Бережна була українським політиком, народнимй депутатом України VI і VII скликань, членом Партії регіонів.
