Колишній мер Києва Леонід Черновецький назвав звинувачення Генеральної прокуратури «помстою» генпрокурора Юрія Луценка. Як інформує PRпортал, про це Черновецький написав у своєму Facebook
«Сьогодні або завтра буде моя політична заява! А поки скажу тільки те, що Луценко - мстивий негідник, п'яниця і корупціонер і мстить мені за те, що на засіданні РНБО в 2008 році я в присутності всього Кабінету міністрів і президента заявив, що він вимагає землю у мерів міст України і потім за хабарі віддає її бізнесменам», - зазначив він. Черновецький також додав, що тоді після засідання РНБО Луценко кілька разів його вдарив, однак Черновецький не став звертатися до правоохоронців для відкриття кримінальної справи.
Як відомо, колишнього міського голову Києва Леоніда Черновецького підозрюють у зловживанні владою або службовим становищем. Про це повідомили в прес-службі Генеральної прокуратури України. «За результатами розслідування, 14.07.2017 колишньому Київському міському голові Черновецькому в порядку, передбаченому Кримінальним процесуальним кодексом України, повідомляється про підозру у вчиненні ... кримінального правопорушення, передбаченого ч. 2 ст. 364 Кримінального кодексу України (зловживання владою або службовим становищем) », - сказано в повідомленні.
