Лідер ліберальної опозиційної партії "Фінляндський центр", що перемогла на виборах у Фінляндії, Юха Сіпіля заявив, що підтримує санкції Євросоюзу проти Росії

"Наша політика щодо Росії не зміниться", – заявив Сіпіля, який в понеділок, 20 квітня, почне консультації про формування нової урядової коаліції.

Крім того, найбільш вірогідний майбутній прем'єр-міністр заявив про своє бажання тісніше співпрацювати з НАТО.

Перемога Юхи Сіпіля на парламентських виборах у Фінляндії була остаточно зафіксована в ніч на 20 квітня, після того як були оброблені всі бюлетені.

Центристи заручилися підтримкою 21,1% виборців (і отримають 49 з 200 місць у парламенті). Це дозволило опозиції обійти правлячу досі Національну коаліційну партію нинішнього прем'єра Александера Стубба (18,2%, 37 місць).
