Переизданная книга Адольфа Гитлера "Mein Kampf" ("Моя борьба") стала бестселлером в Германии.

Об этом сообщает Европейская правда со ссилкой на The Washington Post.

Как пишет издание, сейчас книга занимает второе место в списке бестселлеров среди художественной литературы еженедельника Der Spiegel.

В то же время, как пишет издание, в этом нет никакой заслуги немецких книжных магазинов, которые заказывали по одному экземпляру книги, или же отказывались от ее рекламы.

Однако онлайн-продажи книги начали расти, а за ними и продажи в магазинах.

Напомним, "Mein Kampf" поступила в продажу в Германии впервые с 1945 года.

Переиздание "Mein Kampf" стало возможно благодаря окончанию срока охраны авторских прав, ранее принадлежавших правительству федеральной земли Бавария.

Последние 70 лет местная власть категорически отказывалась санкционировать переиздание работы

Однако с 1 января 2016 года права на книги по законам Германии перешли в публичную собственность.

Научную версию книги переиздал Институт новейшей истории в Мюнхене. Педагоги планируют использовать публикацию на уроках и лекциях по истории.

Тираж составил около 4 тысяч экземпляров. Издатели утверждают, что целью переиздания является развенчание нацистской пропаганды.
