Указом президента Албанії парламентські вибори в країні були перенесені на один тиждень, на 25 червня.

Про це повідомляє Албанське телеграфне агентство, пише Європейська правда.

Перенесення дати виборів стало частиною компромісу між політичними партіями, досягнутого за посередництва США і ЄС.

Вибори мали пройти 18 червня, однак опозиція заявляла про намір їх бойкотувати.

Опозиційна Демократична партія бойкотувала роботу парламенту з середини лютого і не реєструвалася для участі у виборах, звинувачуючи уряд в маніпуляціях з голосуванням.

Розпущений перед виборами парламент збереться у понеділок на позачергове засідання для заміни семи урядових міністрів представниками опозиції.
