Про родинні стосунки Василя Скопика та з Наталією Скибак свідчить декларація чиновниці про доходи за 2016 рік. Видання зазначає, що Василь Скопик та його дружина брали активну участь у виборчій кампанії нинішнього міського голови Трускавця. Пані Наталя була довіреною особою Андрія Кульчинського й отримала посаду, яку обіймає, завдяки протеже свого керівника. "Вочевидь, що шокуючий вчинок Василя Скопика є промовистою візуалізацією цінностей, які сповідує родина", - йдетьяс у повідомленні видання.
Захищати Василя Скопика, який зажив собі слави українського Іуди, взялася очільниця агенції «PerfectPR» Наталя Улинець. Саме ця особа була політтехнологом Андрія Кульчинського під час виборчих перегонів, тож і нині, мабуть, має за обов’язок відбілювати імідж членів команди трускавецького мера. Тож пані Улинець взялася стверджувати, що Василь – технічний виконавець, а усі закиди слід скеровувати замовникам.
