Чинний президент Франції Франсуа Олланд заявив, що у другому турі виборів глави держави має намір підтримати лідера руху Вперед Емманюеля Макрона, який набрав найбільшу кількість голосів за підсумками першого туру.

Про це він сказав у понеділок, 24 квітня, передає Інтерфакс-Україна.

"Зі свого боку, я буду голосувати за Макрона", - запевнив Олланд.

Нагадаємо, згідно з остаточними даними голосування, в першому турі президентських виборів у Франції кандидат від руху Вперед Емманюель Макрон набрав 23,75% голосів.

Друге місце посіла кандидат від ультраправих Марін Ле Пен, яка заручилася підтримкою 21,53% французів.

На третьому місці - кандидат від партії Республіканці Франсуа Фійон (19,91%), на четвертому - Жан-Люк Меланшон від Нескореної Франції з 19,64%, а п'яте місце зайняв кандидат від соціалістів Бенуа Амон з 6,35% голосів.

Другий тур виборів у Франції запланований на 7 травня.
