Екс-президент США Барак Обама разом із дружиною Мішель стануть продюсерами серіалу про початковий період президентства Дональда Трампа. Серіал знімуть за книгою, яка виставляє Трампа у не надто виграшному світлі.

Про це повідомляє DW.

"Серіал стрімінгового сервісу Netflix стане екранізацією бестселера письменника Майкла Льюїса "П'ятий ризик", що являє собою документальну хроніку початкового періоду президентства Трампа. "П'ятий ризик" виставляє чинного президента в не надто виграшному світлі", - йдеться у повідомленні.

У прес-релізі зазначається, що серіал буде присвячений "тій непомітній роботі, яку виконують звичайні герої, котрі керують нашим урядом і охороняють нашу націю".

Барак і Мішель Обама оголосили про співпрацю з Netflix у травні 2018 року. У вівторок, 30 квітня, вони представили перші 7 проектів своєї продюсерської компанії Higher Ground Productions, які збираються реалізувати спільно з Netflix. 

"Більшість із них присвячені подоланню расової та гендерної дискримінації", - пише DW.
