Новый глава Калининградской области Евгений Зиничев ранее работал в Службе безопасности президента, подтвердил РБК пресс-секретарь Владимира Путина. Это уже третий губернатор — выходец из этой структуры.

Пресс-секретарь президента Дмитрий Песков подтвердил РБК, что назначенный в четверг главой Калининградской области Евгений Зиничев ранее работал в Службе безопасности президента (СБП). На уточняющий вопрос, повлиял ли на решение президента опыт Зиничева в спецслужбах, Песков ответил: «Да». Он несколько лет работал в Службе безопасности президента, он был его адъютантом, уточнил собеседник РБК, близкий к Кремлю.

Опубликованная на официальном сайте калининградского правительства биография Зиничева ничего не говорит о его службе в охране президента. В 2015 году он стал руководителем управления ФСБ по Калининградской области. с 1987 по 2015 год, согласно официальной биографии, «служил на различных должностях в органах государственной безопасности». «Официальная биография есть на нашем сайте», — ответила на вопрос РБК руководитель пресс-службы правительства Калининградской области Лариса Полякова
