Nike раскритиковали за рекламу к Открытому чемпионату Австралии по теннису. Спортивный бренд пообещал, что его теннисная экипировка поможет игрокам выдержать «жаркие условия» на корте. Многие посчитали рекламу оскорбительной ввиду борьбы Австралии с пожарами в это время.

«В Мельбурне высокая температура. Жара бросает вызов игрокам и дизайнерам экипировки NikeCourt, которые должны перехитрить огненные условия», - говорится в рекламе. Пользователи Twitter назвали рекламу «неуместной» и «оскорбительной». Бренд затем изменил текст, отметив, что экипировка предлагает большую воздухопроницаемость в зонах наибольшего перегрева тела.
