Зокрема, влада ОАЕ підсвітила в кольори прапора Британії хмарочос Бурдж Халіфа висотою понад 800 метрів.

У місті Орландо (штат Флорида) кольорами британського прапора підсвітили колесо огляду The Orlando Eye.

Кольори британського прапора з'явилися також на фонтані Же До в Женеві (Швейцарія).

А в столиці Північної Ірландії Белфасті в кольори британського прапора була підсвічена ратуша.

У Німеччині влада підсвітила кольорами прапора Британії Бранденбурзькі ворота в Берліні.

Також у ніч на середу, 24 травня, на Ейфелевій вежі в Парижі погасили вогні в пам'ять про загиблих і поранених в результаті теракту на стадіоні Манчестер Арена.

Британська поліція назвала ім'я підозрюваного терориста - 22-річний Салман Абеді.

Увечері, 22 травня, під час концерту співачки Аріани Гранде на стадіоні Манчестер Арена прогримів вибух. На стадіоні відбулися два вибухи, в яких використовувалися начинені цвяхами бомби.

Кількість жертв вибуху склала 22 людини, 59 людей отримали поранення. Відповідальність за теракт узяла на себе Ісламська держава.
