У Сербії прозахідній прем'єр-міністр Александар Вучич заявив про свою перемогу на загальних виборах у країні в неділю.

Екзит-поли, оприлюднені після виборів, засвідчили, що Прогресивна консервативна партія Вучича отримала більше половини голосів виборців. "Громадяни Сербії знову зробили нам честь і надали право очолити уряд", - сказав Вучич.
Вучич пішов на вибори на два роки раніше, сказавши, що він хоче отримати новий мандат від виборців на переговорах про вступ у Європейський Союз, що спричинить за собою потенційно болючу економічну перебудову.
Друге місце зайняли соціалісти, а третє - ультранаціоналісти з Радикальної партії Воїслава Шешеля, який може повернутися в парламент після спростування звинувачень у військових злочинах і злочинах проти людства в Міжнародному трибуналі по колишній Югославії.
Радикальна партія виступає проти членства Сербії в ЄС і за поглиблення відносин з Росією.
