6 квітня телеканал "112 Україна" представив глядачам нового ведучого прямого ефіру - Миколу Сирокваша.Кастинг на ведучого був оголошений 17 березня 2015 року. На місце в команді телеканалу "112 Україна" претендувало більше 20 телеведучих. 

"Микола-професіонал, що володіє необхідним багажем знань і досвіду і відмінно вписується в саму сильну і професійну команду ведучих на українському телебаченні", - пояснює вибір телеканалузаступник генерального продюсера, керівник служби ефірного мовлення телеканалу "112 Україна" Людмила Писанко. 

Сам ведучий Микола Сирокваш говорить про те, що на "112 Україна" прийшов не випадково: "Працювати тут я хотів ще рік тому, оскільки вже тоді багато чув від колег, що тут фантастична студія, просто СNN, мені подобалося, що новини живі, живий ефір. Але тоді, рік тому, мені зробили привабливу пропозицію на TVi. Сьогодні я радий, що все сталося як сталося і я приходжу на "112 Україна" не як ведучий новин, а в новій для мене якості - працювати в прямому ефірі. Мінімум два гостя на годину, постійні включення, тут не можна не бути в курсі усього, що відбувається. Це - відмінний стимул для розвитку і драйв. Загалом, ситуация - з розряду "мрії збуваються."

Микола Сирокваш понад вісім років працював телеведучим: спочатку - програм "Критична точка" і "Ранок з Україною" на ТРК "Україна" , пізніше - вів новини на TVi. На "112 Україна" він буде працювати в онлайн-режимі з понеділка по п'ятницю з 8:00 до 11:00 в парі з вже добре знайомою і улюбленою глядачами каналу ведучою Ксенією Смирновою. З якої, до речі, у Миколи спільне хобі - музика.

Микола Сирокваш народився 26 лютого 1983 року в Аральську. За освітою - менеджер зовнішньоекономічної діяльності. Найбільшадосягнення, на його думку, - те, що він став телеведучим, реалізувавши мрію дитинства. Головний принцип у роботі: "Якщо щось робиш - роби краще за інших!"
