Депутат Верховної Ради Надія Савченко (фракція "Всеукраїнське об'єднання" Батьківщина ") голосувала за позафракційного депутата Дмитра Яроша на позачергових виборах Президента в травні 2014 року. Про це вона повідомила в інтерв'ю телеканалу Newsone, передають Українські Новини.

"А я що, коли-небудь була ним (Президентом Петром Порошенко) зачарована? Я за цю людину не голосувала. Я голосувала за Дмитра Яроша", - сказала вона.

Савченко пояснила свій вибір на президентських виборах тим, що вона хотіла подивитися, наскільки суспільство готове до чогось нового.

Як повідомляли Українські Новини, Центральна виборча комісія визнала Порошенко Президентом за підсумками позачергових виборів глави держави 25 травня.

За нього проголосували 54,7% виборців (9 857 308 голосів), а за Яроша - 0,7% (127 772 голосів).
