На міжнародному сайті, який показує бійки в парламентах, Україна перебуває на першому місці.

Про це повідомив Голова Верховної Ради України Андрій Парубій під час робочої зустрічі "Діалоги з питань парламентської етики" за участю голови місії Європарламенту з оцінки потреб Верховної Ради України Пета Кокса, повідомляє Укрінформ.

"Політичні скандали, зокрема пов'язані з етичними нормами, можуть зашкодити суспільному сприйняттю політичних інститутів. Політичні скандали для України не є дивиною. На міжнародному сайті, який показує бійки в парламентах, Україна перебуває на першому місці", - сказав він.

На сьогоднішній день, за словами Парубія, в українському парламенті понад 300 депутатів публічно говорять про свою європейську спрямованість.

"І мені видається, що це дає нам вагомі підстави говорити про зовсім іншу систему культури в українському парламенті", - сказав він. 

Парубій зауважив, що доречно було б розробити кодекс парламентської етики, де б йшлося не тільки про культуру поведінки, а й про конфлікт інтересів, і про прозорість депутатських пільг та виплат, декларування статків.

"Не секрет, що сьогодні ВР має низький рівень довіри серед українських громадян, і маємо працювати над покращенням довіри до парламенту, над зміною політичної культури", - підсумував Парубій.
