17 липня 2016 р. в смт. Новопсков невідомі особи розповсюджують інформаційні листівки, в яких повідомляють неправдиву інформацію про загибель  кандидата в депутати по виборчому округу № 114  Сергія Шахова.

В день голосування громадські спостерігачі ОПОРИ зафіксували, що невідомі особи   розклеюють інформаційні буклети  в центрі смт.  Новопсков по вул. Леніна близько 7 ранку. Подібні листівки розклеєні у великій кількості в інших районах міста.  

Громадянська мережа ОПОРА закликає кандидатів в народні депутати України в ОВО №114 вести свою передвиборчу кампанію за принципами рівної та чесної конкуренції.

ОПОРА попереджає, що відповідно до частини 10 статті 74 Закону України «Про вибори народних депутатів»: «Забороняється розповсюдження завідомо недостовірних або наклепницьких відомостей про партію - суб'єкта виборчого процесу або про кандидата у депутати, недостовірний або наклепницький характер яких встановлено у судовому порядку».
