На 57-й церемонии вручения музыкальных премий Grammy показали видео с Майдана, сообщает VIDIA.
В частности, американский кантри-певец Эрик Чарч в качестве фона для песни "Give Me Back My Hometown" ("Верните мой родной город") использовал видеокадры из мировых революций. В том числе на главной сцене церемонии Grammy транслировали и кадры с украинского Майдана.
Напомним, Grammy – музыкальная премия Американской академии звукозаписи, была учреждена Ассоциацией звукозаписывающих компаний США 14 марта 1958 года. В этом году обладателем награды в категориях "Песня года" и "Запись года" стал британец Сэм Смит. "Лучшим альбомом года" была признана пластинка "Morning Phase" американского певца и композитора Бека (Хэнсена). Перед участниками вечера также выступил с видеообращением президент США Барак Обама. В нем американский лидер призвал деятелей культуры присоединиться к кампании, направленной на прекращение насилия в отношении женщин.
