Американский миллиардер Роберт Дерст, арестованный накануне, 15 марта, по подозрению в убийстве, признался в совершении преступления в документальном фильме о нем, показанном телеканалом HBO. Об этом пишет газета The New York Times,сообщает Газета.ru

Речь идет о показанном после ареста бизнесмена заключительном эпизоде документального фильма, состоящего из шести серий.

«Что, черт возьми, я сделал? Убил их всех, конечно», — прошептал Дерст, возможно, забыв, что к нему прикреплен микрофон, который он носил во время съемок.

Накануне адвокат бизнесмена заявил, что ФБР арестовало Дерста в отеле в Новом Орлеане за убийство Сьюзан Берман 15 лет назад.

В документальном фильме про миллиардера рассказывается о загадочном исчезновении его супруги в 1982 году, а также об убийстве Берман. Ранее Дерст был оправдан по делу об убийстве и расчленении соседа в 2001 году, поскольку было доказано, что он действовал в рамках самообороны.
