Черговий удар для Ангели Меркель та її партії в Німеччині завдали регіональні вибори. Партія канцлерки "Християнсько-Демократичний союз" показала історично низький результат у Берліні, де її підтримали лише 18% виборців, ідеться в сюжеті ТСН.19:30.

Союзні Меркель соціал-демократи теж утратили голоси, і тепер обидві партії не зможуть сформувати більшість у місцевому парламенті. Низька підтримка провладної партії ставить під сумнів кандидатуру Меркель на найвищу посаду в країні вже за рік.

Удару по репутації канцлерки завдала політика стосовно біженців. І вона ж привела до берлінського парламенту популістську партію "Альтернатива для Німеччини", що здобула 14% голосів. Окрім закриття кордонів для біженців, у цій силі виступають за скасування антиросійських санкцій. А російськомовних вважають кращими мігрантами.

Сама Меркель відступати від своєї лінії не хоче. "Я лідер партії, тож не уникатиму відповідальності. І природньо, візьму на себе відповідальність як лідер і як канцлер.

Якщо люди вважають, що ми маємо просто не приймати мігрантів, особливо мусульман, то наша конституція і правові зобов'язання нашої держави та мої особисті переконання – стоять на їхньому шляху", - попередила керівник уряду ФРН.
