Культурный проект Raining Poetry («Поэзия дождя») разработан городской мэрией Boston City Hall в сотрудничестве с некоммерческой организацией Mass Poetry в стремлении привлечь внимание населения к культурной истории Бостона, где в свое время творили такие знаменитости как Эдвард Каммингс и Сильвия Платт.

Поэтические строки нанесены на асфальт с помощью водоотталкивающего спрея. Как говорят организаторы акции, его состав безвреден для окружающей среды, процесс биоразложения составляет 6-8 недель.
