Мер Чернігова Олександр Соколов та заступник голови Чернігівської облради Валентин Мельничук оголосили про приєднання до партії регіональних лідерів "Наш Край". Про це Соколов та Мельничук заявили в середу, 26 серпня, на прес-конференції в Чернігові, передає РБК.

Зокрема, Олександр Соколов зазначив, що надмірна політизація у більшості сфер життя країни вплинула на вибір політичної сили, з якою він піде на вибори.

"Я буду йти від сили, де лідери не київські партійні вожді, а люди справи, які переживають за свою землю і знають, як зробити життя людей кращим. Я йду на вибори з партією "Наш край", яка об'єднує голів і регіональних лідерів ", - пояснив Соколов.

Керівники Чернігова та області заявили, що готові взяти на себе відповідальність за регіон і будуть брати участь у місцевих виборах від партії "Наш край".

"Я впевнений, що на місцевих виборах люди справи від "Нашого краю" зможуть перемогти популістів з їх мішками гречки", - додав його колега Мельничук, який три роки працював губернатором області.

Як відомо, 30 липня в Києві була презентована нова політична сила "Наш край", яка буде представляти інтереси регіонів. Про приєднання до партії вже заявили понад 30 мерів і регіональних лідерів. Процес приєднання триває.
