Всі 3 мільярди облікових записів користувачів Yahoo були зламані в 2013 році, а не 1 млрд, як повідомлялося раніше.

Розслідування показало, що масштабний злам баз даних Yahoo в 2013 році вплинув на всі 3 млрд акаунтів.

При цьому в компанії повідомили, що вкрадена інформація не включала паролі у вигляді чистого тексту, дані платіжних карт або інформацію про банківські рахунки.

Представник Yahoo також уточнив, що цифра в 3 мільярди включає в себе безліч облікових записів, які були відкриті, але ніколи або рідко використовувалися.

У грудні минулого року Yahoo заявила, що дані більш ніж 1 мільярда облікових записів користувачів були зламані в серпні 2013 року.

Як повідомлялося, це не перший злам баз даних Yahoo. У березні 2017 року стало відомо, що до масштабного злому Yahoo в 2014 році, який торкнувся щонайменше 500 млн акаунтів, були причетні двоє агентів ФСБ.
