Сеть «Макдоналдс» отменила интернет-акцию «Создай бургер», которая проводилась в Новой Зеландии. Причина в том, что посетители сайта начали предлагать рецепты гамбургеров с оскорбительными или как минимум провокационными названиями.

В рамках акции посетителям сайта makeburgerhistory.co.nz предлагалось написать свой рецепт бургера, а за это получит картошку фри. Однако, как пишет Sandard.co.uk, кампания произвела неожиданный эффект. Большинство пользователей, заходивших на сайт, начинали упражняться в остроумии и предлагать неожиданные, и даже обидные, названия для гамбургеров.

Например, кто-то изобрел «социалистический» гамбургер, состоящий из одного хлеба, другой предложил назвать свое творение «дерзкие булочки». Были также гамбургеры «грустный европеец» и «ловушка для вегетарианца». Название некоторых блюд оскорбляли по гендерному и расовому признаку.

Сотни постов были опубликованы в социальных сетях прежде, чем «Макдоналдс» решил отменить акцию и закрыть сайт.
