Президент України Петро Порошенко в суботу, 29 квітня, підписав указ про припинення громадянства нардепа Андрія Артеменка, який раніше нібито передав колишньому раднику Дональда Трампа Майклу Флінну план нормалізації відносин між Україною і Росією. Про це на сторінці в Facebook повідомив лідер "Радикальної партії" Олег Ляшко.

За його словами, Артеменка позбавили громадянства "в зв'язку з добровільним набуттям ним у 2005 році громадянства Канади".

"Це унікальний і перший за 26 років Незалежності випадок, коли державний чиновник відповів за порушення Конституції України, яка передбачає лише одне - Українське! - громадянство. Зараз Артеменко і його захисники кричатимуть, що Конституція України забороняє позбавляти громадянства. Позбавляти - так, а припиняти - ні, не забороняє!", - зазначив Ляшко.

"Тепер ми вимагатимемо, щоб парламент на першому пленарному засіданні 16 травня достроко припинив депутатські повноваження Артеменка", - підкреслив нардеп.

Ляшко також додав, що за його інформацією, вранці в суботу Артеменко вилетів до Відня і висловив надію, що після повернення він здасть український паспорт.

За даними джерел PRпорталу  Указ Петра Порошенка щодо Андрія Артеменка був готовий ще на початку тижня, але Олегу Ляшку вирішили повідомити на вихідних. 

Як відомо, раніше ГПУ звернулася до міністра внутрішніх справ Арсену Авакову з проханням ініціювати через Державну міграційну службу процедуру втрати українського громадянства Артеменко. А PRпортал повідомляв, що Андрій Артеменко за 30 тисяч доларів у місяць найняв американського лобіста Дейла Армстронга для надання політичних послуг.
