Міністр навколишнього середовища Молдови Валеріу Мунтяну заявив, що підтримує рішення Ліберальної партії порушити в парламенті питання щодо імпічмента президенту Ігорю Додону.
За словами міністра, таке рішення є обґрунтованим у зв'язку з відмовою президента призначити на посаду міністра оборони кандидатуру, запропоновану прем'єр-міністром країни.
"Своєю відмовою призначити на посаду міністра оборони запропоновану прем'єр-міністром кандидатуру президент Ігор Додон може спровокувати політичну та конституційну кризу, мета якої - дестабілізувати ситуацію в Молдові. Тим самим, він порушує не тільки Конституцію Республіки Молдова, але й рішення Конституційного суду, так як прерогатива призначення міністрів належить прем'єр-міністру, а не президенту", - пише Мунтяну в своєму блозі.
Він також нагадав про те, що Додон привітав із перемогою на виборах президента Придністровської молдавської республіки (ПМР) Вадима Карсносельского, формально визнавши таким чином ПМР незалежною державою.
