Российские СМИ и сайты сообщили о якобы 67 погибших на Майдане Независимости в Киеве в субботу, 20 февраля, в день траура по Небесной сотне.

Однако, как оказалось, в своей «новости» российские СМИ использовали сообщения украинского информационного агентства УНИАН двухлетней давности, сообщает «Радио Свобода».

«20 февраля российские СМИ сообщили о якобы 67 жертв в результате столкновений в центре Киева. Так, на сайте российского издания Lenta.ru со ссылкой на украинское информационное агентство УНИАН сообщили: «В период с 18 по 20 февраля в результате столкновений в Киеве погибли 67 человек», - говорится в сообщении.

В новости также говорится о том, что 20 февраля на Майдане Независимости несколько сотен человек – участников массовой акции памяти Євромайдану – разложили костер и протестовали против политики правительства Украины. А также, что в этот же день в Киеве произошли беспорядки в центре города и нападений со стороны участников митинга подверглись здания «дочек» российских банков и офис бизнесмена Рината Ахметова.

Информацию с сайта Lenta.ru перепечатали и другие российские сайты:«Rusnext русская весна», «Политикус.ру», «Вести недели» и другие.

На сайте информационного агентства УНИАН, на которое сослались, сообщая о 67 погибших в Киеве, действительно есть такая новость за 20 февраля, однако речь идет о события 2014 года, а не 2016-го.

Позже сайт Lenta.ru и некоторые другие сайты новость удалили, однако она осталась в Google cache.
