Екс-кандидат в президенти США від Демократичної партії Хілларі Клінтон заявила, що перемога лідера руху "Вперед!" Еммануеля Макрона в ході президентських виборів у Франції є поразкою для противників демократії.

Про це вона написала в своєму Twitter.

"Перемога для Макрона, для Франції, ЄС та світу. Поразка для тих, хто втручається в демократію. (Але ЗМІ говорять, що я не можу розмовляти про це)", - йдеться в повідомленні.

7 травня у Франції відбувся другий тур президентських виборів. Лідер руху "Вперед!" Еммануель Макрон здобув перемогу, набравши 66,06% голосів виборців.

За його суперницю - лідера "Національного фронту" Марін Ле Пен проголосували 33,94% французів.

Раніше президент США Дональд Трамп привітав Макрона з "великою перемогою"
