Участник президентской гонки в США Хиллари Клинтон во время встречи со сторонниками в Айове обвинила Россию и некоторые другие страны в финансировании хакерских атак против США, пишет Дождь.

«Не только Китай. Мы знаем что и правительства других стран — России, Северной Кореи, Ирана — также прямо или косвенно спонсировали хакерские атаки», — сказала Клинтон.

Бывшая Госсекретарь США также отметила, что «эти возможности могут попасть в руки террористов». 

Ранее в июле Пентагон представил обновленную военную доктрину. В ней говорится о том, что США должны противостоять «нарушающим международные договоры ревизионистским государствам», таким как Россия. В то же время Пентагон указал на заслуги России в борьбе с терроризмом.

«Россия не раз показывала, что не уважает суверенитет своих соседей. Военная активность России напрямую и через марионеточные силы подрывает региональную безопасность», — заявил председатель Объединенного комитета начальников штабов США Мартин Демпси.
