Кандидат у президенти США від Демократичної партії Гілларі Клінтон заявила, що твіт її суперника Дональда Трампа із шестикутною зіркою є «відверто антисемітським».
 

Про це пише Media Sapiens з посиланням на BBC. 

Раніше пан Трамп розмістив фотографію пані Клінтон на фоні доларових купюр та зірки Давида з написом «найбільш корумпований кандидат».

Пізніше цей твіт був видалений, а потім знову опублікований, але гасло цього разу було надруковане у колі.

Сам Дональд Трамп заявив, преса вчинила «нечесно», порівнявши зірку в його записі із зіркою Давида, символом юдаїзму.

За повідомленням ЗМІ, картинка, використана Трампом, вперше з'явилася на сайті, відомому своїм антисемітизмом.

«Використання Дональдом Трампом відверто антисемітського зображення з расистських сайтів заради своєї кампанії - це дуже тривожно», - зазначили американським ЗМІ в команді пані Клінтон.

У відповідь республіканський кандидат заявив, що те зображення - «звичайна зірка, яку часто використовують шерифи», і що звинувачення в антисемітизмі на його адресу - «смішні».
