Советник губернатора Одесской области Александр Боровик стал кандидатом в мэры Одессы от партии «Блок Петра Порошенко «Солидарность». Боровик также возглавляет список в городской совет от партии БППС.

Такое решение приняли в ходе городской конференции «Блок Петра Порошенко «Солидарность», сообщает Думская.

Члены партии единогласно поддержали кандидатуру Боровика. Сам кандидат поблагодарил соратников за оказанное доверие.

«До моего отъезда из СССР, Львов и Одесса были для меня двумя центрами гравитации. Поэтому после долгой жизни в других странах мне очень приятно снова быть привязанным к Одессе. Я родился во Львове, но здесь до сих пор живут мои родственники, здесь прошло все мое детство, и первые плохие слова я узнал в парке Ильича. И вот партия президента выдвигает меня первым номером на выборы мэра города. Говорить о том, что нужно менять в Одессе, очень просто: здесь нужно менять все. Вступление в предвыборную гонку — это возможность всерьез говорить о конкретных изменениях», — отметил Александр Боровик и добавил в заключении, что главное — есть команда сподвижников, которые способны провести реформы.
