13 лет подряд туалетная бумага переживает свои 15 минут славы, становясь звездой Ежегодного конкурса свадебных платьев из туалетной бумаги. В этом году спонсором конкурса выступила компания Quilted Northern, поэтому все платья были придуманы с использованием туалетной бумаги марки Georgia-Pacific.
Чтобы отпраздновать свое новообретенное спонсорство, Quilted Northern и агентство Droga5 создали рекламный ролик, в котором рассказывается история рулона туалетной бумаги, мечтающего о великих достижениях. В ролике говорится, что «в этом свадебном сезоне этот рулон понимает, что он предназначен не только для комфорта». И под триумфальную музыку на заднем плане рулон отправляется в путешествие, чтобы стать свадебным платьем.
На конкурс, организованный свадебным онлайн-порталом Cheap Chic Weddings, подали более 1500 нарядов, сделанных полностью из туалетной бумаги. После тщательного отбора стали известны 10 финалистов, которые 20 июля представили свои работы в Нью-Йорке. Победительницей стала Кэри Курлетто из Лас-Вегаса. Ранее Droga5 воспела равенство и бренд Under Armour в рекламной кампании.
