Руководители трех крупнейших израильских телевизионных компаний, "Решет", "Кешет" и "10-й канал", обратились к правительству с жалобой на крупные международные интернет-компании, обвинив их в разрушении израильского рынка телевидения и уклонении от уплаты налогов.

Основной причиной жалобы стал передел рынка телевизионной рекламы. Видеосервисы в интернете отобрали у телевидения рекламные кампании на 78 миллионов шекелей из общего "пирога" в 895 миллионов шекелей, пишет Sostav.ua

Подавляющее большинство средств ушло принадлежащему корпорации Google сервису Youtube и компании Facebook.

Авторы письма жалуются, что, в отличие от израильских телеканалов, международные интернет-компании не ограничены государственной регуляцией и не платят местные налоги. "Их деятельность ставит под угрозу не только телекомпании, но и продюсерские компании и тысячи рабочих мест в местной телеиндустрии", - говорится в обращении.
