С 1 февраля 2016 года интернет-издание INSIDER прекращает свою работу. Об этом говорится на официальной Facebook-странице издания.

«Мы круглосуточно работали на Майдане, освещали оккупацию Крыма и войну на Востоке Украины. Делали расследования коррупции в госсекторе, систематизировали информацию о крупнейших финансово-промышленных и политических группах, готовили аналитику и репортажи по самым острым темам.Нашими принципами были независимость и объективность. За все время работы на INSIDER не вышло ни одного заказного материала, и ни один материал не был снят в угоду политическим интересам или за деньги», - говорится в сообщении.

Причины закрытия проекта не указано. «К сожалению, время нашего проекта истекло», - объяснила команда Insider.

Владельцем сайта было ООО «Всеукраинская медиа группа» (Алексей Тамразов).
