Політична група ЄНП у Парламентській асамблеї Ради Європи на зустрічі в середу більшістю голосів схвалила рішення про виключення зі свого складу президента асамблеї Педро Аграмунта.

Про це повідомляє зі Страсбурга кореспондент "Європейської правди".

За виключення проголосувала більшість присутніх депутатів. Варто зазначити, що на позачерговому засіданні було менше депутатів ніж зазвичай.

Ініціатором відставки стало Бюро ЄНП. Членам групи повідомили про листування голови групи Акселя Фішера із президентом ПАРЄ, під час якого останній заявив, що вважає незаконними рішення групи ЄНП (детальніше про це читайте в статті "Аграмунта по осені знімають").

Виключення депутата з групи – крайній захід, що застосовується доволі рідко і лише в разі жорсткого конфлікту. В історії асамблеї ще не було випадку, коли політична група виключала зі свого складу діючого президента.

Нагадаємо, Парламентська асамблея Ради Європи схвалила рішення про внесення змін до власного регламенту, дозволивши змістити з посади президента Педро Аграмунта.

Сам Аграмунт залишив Страсбург попри те, що за посадою мав зобов’язання лишатися до завершення сесії ПАРЄ.
