Холдинг «Ньюс Медиа» Арама Габрелянова перестанет издавать газету «Известия». Об этом «Ведомостям» рассказали несколько собственных источников и сам Габрелянов.

По его словам, старый договор, согласно которому газету издавал холдинг «Ньюс Медиа», истек, а новый подписывать не будут. От других комментариев Габрелянов отказался. По данным «Ведомостей», контракт истек 31 июля. 

«Известия» принадлежат «Национальной медиа группе», а холдинг Габрелянова в последние годы издавал газету по договору. У «Известий» и основного актива Габрелянова портала «Лайф» была общая редакция. С начала 2016 года Габрелянов стал меньше участвовать в жизни «Известий». Впоследствии главным редактором газеты стал Арсений Оганесян, который, как пишут «Ведомости», был кандидатурой владельцев «Известий», а не Габрелянова.
