Хакеры взломали оффшорный Cayman National Bank на острове Мэн, сообщается на сайте банка, передает Новое время

 

В банке не называют масштаб утечки, но по данным сайта UnicornRiot, объем похищенных данных сопоставим с «панамским архивом». Речь идет о доступе к данным и счетам около 3800 компаний, фондов и физлиц.

 

Из украденных данных около 780 клиентских счетов зарегистрированы на острове Мэн, 272 на Кипре, 153 в Великобритании, 107 на Каймановых островах, 51 на Британских Виргинских островах, 12 на Сейшельских островах, 11 в США, 7 в Белиз, 7 в Ирландии, и небольшое количество из других оффшорных юрисдикций.

О взломе 17 ноября сообщил сайт Motherboard, ответственность за взлом взял хакер Финеас Фишер. Он назвал взлом банка политически мотивированным и призвал всех бороться с «неравенством и капитализмом».

Напомним, что скандал с утечкой данных из Панамского архива произошел в апреле 2016 года. Среди фигурантов офшорного скандала тогда оказались 12 действующих и бывших мировых лидеров, более 120 бизнесменов и 29 богатейших людей из списка Forbes.
