Штаб кандидата у президенти Франції Еммануеля Макрона зазнав масштабної хакерської атаки, результатом якої стали злиті в мережу десятки тисяч листів і документів лише за декілька годин до закінчення офіційної кампанії.

Про це у своєму Твіттері повідомляє WikiLeaks.

"MacronLeaks: зламані десятки тисяч листів, фотографій, програм за період до 24 квітня 2017— в загальній складності близько 9 ГБ", — йдеться в повідомленні.

У штабі Макрона заявили, що вони стали жертвами масованої і скоординованої хакерської операції.

За словами представників команди кандидата, документи лише демонструють звичний хід президентської кампанії, однак занепокоєність викликає те, що у соцмережах вони змішані з відвертими фейками.

"Серйозність цієї події безсумнівна, і ми не будемо терпіти, щоб життєві інтереси демократії бути поставлені під загрозою," – цитує Reuters заяву руху "Вперед!".

Як відомо, другий тур президентських виборів у Франції відбудеться 7 травня. Еммануель Макрон, згідно з опитуваннями, має найбільше шансів на перемогу.
