Хакерам вдалося отримати доступ до інформації про майже 100 мільйонів акаунтів на «Rambler».
 

Про це повідомляє Media Sapiens з посиланням на сайт LeakedSource.com. Сайт LeakedSource стверджує, що мова йде про дані, отримані в результаті зламу в лютому 2012 року. База, до якї ресурс отримав доступ, містить 98 167 935 записів. У кожному записі є  відомості про адресу зареєстрованої пошти, паролі, номер ICQ і деякі інші дані. Паролі в базі зберігалися у вигляді звичайного тексту, без будь-яких шифрування або хешування.

Частину поштових скриньок вдалося верифікувати: опитані користувачі змогли розпізнати перші чотири символи своїх паролів та доповнити решту. Серед найпопулярніших паролів: asdasd, asdasd 123, 123456, 000000, 666666. При цьому респонденти відзначили, що в базі містяться старі паролі, якими вони користувалися більше 1-2 років тому.
