Голова Верховної Ради Володимир Гройсман повідомив, що позачергове засідання парламенту з метою розглянути законопроект щодо децентралізації відбудеться 31 серпня.

Остаточно закон про зміни до Конституції щодо децентралізації планують ухвалити на наступній сесії Верховної Ради, яка відтак почнеться вже наступного дня, 1 вересня, сказав Гройсман.

Він висловив сподівання, що за ці зміни проголосує більш як 300 депутатів, щоб схвалити їх, повідомляє телевізійний «5-й канал».

Раніше в четвер, 20 серпня, президент України Петро Порошенко висловив упевненість, що Верховна Рада підтримає ці зміни.

В адміністрації президента висловлювали сподівання, що депутати ухвалять документ до місцевих виборів 25 жовтня.

3 серпня до Верховної Ради надійшов висновок Конституційного суду про те, що цей законопроект відповідає Основному законові, ухвалений 31 липня. Законопроект, поданий президентом, Верховна Рада направила на розгляд Конституційного суду 16 липня.

Законопроект, зокрема, передбачає, що джерелом влади повинні стати місцеві громади, які самі будуть збирати податки і розподіляти бюджети. Обласні та районні адміністрації ліквідують, держава ж буде представлена на місцях інститутом префектів.

Як наголошував Порошенко, ніякого особливого статусу для Донбасу зміни не передбачають.
