Служба безопасности Украины на пять лет запретила экс-президенту СССР Михаилу Горбачеву въезд в страну в связи с публичной поддержкой аннексии Крыма. Об этом ЛІГА.net сообщили в СБУ.

"Действительно закрыли [въезд в Украину] на пять лет в интересах обеспечения государственной безопасности. В частности, за публичную поддержку военной аннексии Крыма", - сообщил собеседник агентства.

Ранее в СМИ появилась информация, что СБУ запретила Горбачеву въезд в страну на пять лет. Но какие-либо подробности такого решения не указывались.

В мае 2016 года в интервью The Sunday Times Горбачев назвал аннексию Крыма Россией "правильным решением", сообщает российский РБК. После этого депутат Антон Геращенко заявил, что "в таких случаях СБУ принимает решение о запрете въезда лицам, которые поддерживают нарушение территориальной целостности Украины".

Россия оккупировала Автономную республику Крым в 2014-м году. Верховная Рада Украины официально объявила 20 февраля 2014-го началом временной оккупации Крыма и Севастополя Россией. Ключевые международные организации, в том числе Генеральная ассамблея ООН, осудили действия России и назвали аннексию и оккупацию Крыма незаконной. Против РФ были введены экономические санкции.
