Головна сторінка Google прикрашена до 110-річного ювілею естрадної співачки, українки Клавдії Шульженко.
 

Естрадну співачку Клавдію Шульженко можна назвати суперзіркою своєї епохи. Незважаючи на важкі часи 1920-х - 1930-х років вона зуміла прославитися і домогтися визнання на державному рівні.

Найбільш відомою Шульженко стала завдяки виконанню фронтових пісень і зйомок в кінострічках військового часу.

Doodle уособлює образ Клавдії Шульженко з фільму 1942 року "Концерт фронту", в якому співачка і зображена з синім хусткою в руках.

Уродженка Харкова (за іншими даними - Чигиринського району, Черкаської області) брала активну участь у війні, а в 1942 і 1945 роках була удостоєна бойових нагород - медалі "За оборону Ленінграда" і Ордена Червоної Зірки 9 травня 1945 року.

Під час блокади Ленінграда Шульженко виконала понад 500 композицій, а пісня "Синий платочек" і зовсім стала легендарною.

Однією з останніх робіт співачки і актриси були мемуари випущені в 1981 році. Клавдія Шульженко померла в 1984 році.
