Компания объявила, что рекламодатели теперь могут публиковать в Google Maps свои логотипы, а также анонсировала увеличение текстовой рекламы в AdWords

В официальном блоге Google представил несколько новых рекламных возможностей своих сервисов.

Теперь рекламные объявления брендов будут появляться на картах при поиске местоположения и составления маршрута пользователем. Бренд также может заплатить за размещение своего логотипа в Google Maps. По мнению представителей корпорации, это значительно увеличит посещаемость точек.

Изменения в рекламных форматах коснулись и сервиса AdWords. После отказа от правого блока рекламы на странице выдачи Google решил расширить возможности текстовых объявлений. Заголовок теперь может включать в себя не 25 символов, как это было раньше, а 30. В строке с описанием есть возможность уместить 80 знаков вместо 35. Расширенные объявления будут отдельно оптимизированы при показе на смартфонах.

По оценкам Google, увеличение текстовой информации приведет к росту кликабельности на 20% и снизит количество отказов, потому как пользователи заранее смогут понять всю суть рекламного объявления. Новыми возможностями рекламодатели смогут воспользоваться в этом году.
